Charlestown Real Estate
Just a quick walk over the bridge from the North End and you’re in Charlestown. A really quaint main street area is littered with gas lamps and row houses, akin to Beacon Hill, it feels like you’ve stepped back in time as the historic nature of this neighborhood is anchored by the very large Monument in the center of it all. Charlestown is a mix of Victorian bow front brownstones and Federal style row houses. In addition, on the South side of the neighborhood the Navy Yard has been converted into a residential annex of sorts with several of the Navy Pier buildings being converted to condos and some nice neighborhood bistros and restaurants.
