Midtown is one of Boston’s newest neighborhoods…not the land itself of course but the residential core of the neighborhood is all quite new. Midtown is one of the most active neighborhoods at the moment in terms of developments. There are the existing towers in 45 Province, One Charles, The W, The Ritz, Tremont on the Common, the Parkside and the newest addition, the Millennium and then there is a whole host of other projects that flank the Filene’s block project which will house a 625 story residential tower along with additional commercial and retail anchors. Midtown is now known for luxury, full service living, some would say a big departure from what it used to be known for.
